How do I restore my purchase?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases". Your purchase is linked to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically on any device signed into the same account.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored 100% locally on your device. ODO is a "Local-First" application with no cloud servers. We never have access to your fuel logs or personal information. If you delete the app, your data is permanently deleted.

How do I export data for taxes?

Tap the "Generate Report" button on the Dashboard to create a professional PDF expense report. The report includes all your fuel expenses grouped by financial year, perfect for tax deductions and business expense claims.

What units does ODO support?

ODO automatically detects your locale and displays the appropriate units. US users see MPG and gallons, while users in the UK, Australia, and other metric countries see L/100km and liters.

Overview

ODO ("The App") is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Your financial and vehicle data belongs to you, not us. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. Specifically:

  • No Accounts Required: You do not need to create an account or sign up to use the App.
  • No Location Tracking: We do not access or track your GPS location.
  • No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services to monitor your usage patterns.
  • No Advertising: The App contains no advertisements or ad tracking.

Data Storage

All data you enter into the App (odometer readings, fuel costs, price per unit) is stored exclusively on your device's local storage. This means:

  • We (the developers) have zero access to your data.
  • Your data is never uploaded to external servers.
  • Your information remains completely under your control.

In-App Purchases

The App offers optional paid features processed directly by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment details, credit card information, or billing address. We receive only a purchase confirmation token from Apple to unlock premium features.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over retention. Deleting the App will permanently erase all stored data. We cannot recover deleted data as we never had a copy.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service interaction is with Apple's App Store for processing in-app purchases.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
